Saturday, 28th

10.00 am – 7.00 pm – Opening of the AFNI / ASFERICO stand in the INTERNATIONAL FAIR OF BIRDWATCHING

10.00 am – 7.00 pm – Opening of the Asferico 2018 Competition exhibition in the hall of the MANIFATTURA dei MARINATI

4.00 pm –  4.20 pm – HIGH, OVER THERE edited by the AFNI Friuli Venezia Giulia branch (Italy)
Silence is so hard to find in everyday life, but the mountains can teach us to appreciate it. A journey through the photographs of the AFNI F.V.G. section, almost an ode to their native mountains. These are the spectacular, rugged and wild Friuli-Venezia-Giulia mountains.

4.30 pm – 4.50 pm – LIGHTS AND COLOURS OF THE PARK a multivisual show by Diana Crestan – pictures by various
photographers (Italy)
The show is composed by the pictures of the semi-final phase of the 2015 Contest “Foreste Casentinesi” announced by the Ente Parco and organized by the BioArt visual Association.

5.00 pm – 5.45 pm – Anne Mäenurm multivisual shows (Estonia)

– MOUNTAINS THROUGH MY EYES
A story in pictures of the photographer’s adventures, from the Friulian Alps to the Trentino Dolomites.
– FROZEN PLITVICE
An unsual view of the Plitvice Lakes National Park in Croatia during a cold winter.
– THE LAST DANCE
Autumn in Estonia, the spectacular lights and colours of this wonderful season.

6.00 pm –  7.00 pm – PREDATORS OF THE MICROCOSM Pictures by Emanuele Biggi and Franceso Tomasinelli , a multivisual
show by Diana Crestan (Italy)
A multivisual show connected to the new book of the authors. Will be presented some of the most interesting aspects and stories of the publication as some funny “behind the scenes” moments around the world. Frogs, insects, forests and deserts, the wonderful universe of the small predators.

Sunday, 29th

3.30 pm – 3.50 pm – APPUANE WILD LANDS by Lorenzo Shoubridge (Italy)
At the end of a photographic work lasting over six years in the Regional Park of the Apuan Alps, the author introduces us to the interior beauty of these lands, through wonderful views and lesser known animals.

4.00 pm – 5.00 pm – THE PERFECTION OF NATURE photography by Georg Kantioler, Manuel Plaickner, Johannes and Hugo
Wassermann (Italy)
An unique view on Alto Adige, the first joint project of four photographers, a declaration of love to their native land. The ambition is to present in a particular way the extraordinary treasures that nature has created. In each picture emerges the intimate approach and the aesthetic research of the authors.

5.15 pm – 6.45 pm – LYS AN INTIMATE JOURNEY TO THE NORTH by Sandra Bartocha and Werner Bollmann (Germany)
LYS is an intimate journey in the light of Northern Europe landscapes by Sandra and Werner. Only a few times the work of two nature photographers is so well blended, materialized afterwards in a beautiful book.

7.00 – AWARD CEREMONY of 12th International Competition ASFERICO 2018
– A multivisual show with the pictures of the final phase of the Asferico 2018 competition

Monday, 30th

4.00 pm – 4.20 pm – BORDER LAKES AFNI Friuli Venezia Giulia branch (Italy)
The border line between Austria, Slovenia and Friuli-Venezia-Giulia has been marked in the past by long and bloody battles, but today we can admire these landscapes in tranquillity and peace. In the past these places were considerably colder than today. The global warming effect is melting a part of the Alpine glaciers and even some alpine lake
are shrinking in size, probably some of them are destined to disappear. It is our duty to reverse this trend…

4.30 pm – 4.40 pm – COLVERA, BETWEEN SILENCE AND POETRY photographs by Willy Di Giulian, a multivisual show by
Diana Crestan (Italy)
This a multivision show created for the presentation of the namesake book dedicated to the territory of Val Colvera in the Friulian Dolomites. The pictures describe unique landscapes whose valleys contain an intact and wild nature, from the clear waters of the torrents, to the gorges and up to the Mount Raut peaks.

4.50 pm – 5.20 pm – ITALIAN RIVERS a visual show by AFNI, various AFNI photographers (Italy)
A multivision show with the pictures of the book with the same title published by AFNI. A spectacular sequence of fluvial landscapes throughout the Italian peninsula during the seasons, populated by a multitude of birds and other organisms whose existence is connected to these “water roads”.

5.30 pm – 6.30 pm – SERIOUS CASE OF WONDERLUST by Ismaele Tortella (Italy)
An audiovisual show that traces the adventures of the photographer Ismaele Tortella, from the harsh Italian Apennines and the Iberian ibex of the Spanish meseta, to the boundless woods of Swedish Lapland and the subtropical forests where the indigenous communities Mbya Guarani live. The journey ends in the Great North in search of the northern light. Wild nature stories and adventures seen through photography.

Tuesday, 1st

A multivision show dedicated to the Conero Park. Landscapes and wildlife through the seasons.
– OUR REGION, OUR NATURE
Pictures of the Umbria Region through the seasons, from local people to the mountains to the sea.
– WINTER HAS ARRIVED
Pictures taken during the winter months throughout the Marche Region and the Sibillini Mountains.
– THE COLOURS OF NATURE
Colourful landcsapes, plants and wildlife.

11.45 am – 12.00 pm – “PORTUS PELORI” ON FARO LAKE AT MESSINA by Ezio Giuffré (Italy)
Once it was the Portus Pelori, today just the “Pantanello”; three thousand years of history for this fragile ecosytem.

12.10 pm – 12.30 pm – AN ISLAND OF LIGHT by AFNI Sicilia branch (Italia)
A multivision show dedicated to the Sicily Region: a mistreated but generous nature that offers moments of absolute beauty and fills the eyes and the soul with light.
